If your project is minimum risk: projects are looked at “on a first come, first-served basis throughout the year by the Chair and Ethics Research Officers”. There is no deadline necessarily, but applications are usually reviewed within 3 to 4 weeks of submission. The time taken for approval can depend on the amount of applications that have been submitted for review.

 

If your project is considered above minimum risk: there are special deadlines for submission. The board meets once a month (usually the last Friday of the month) so be mindful of deadlines for submission.
